I first saw creepers creeping in (haha lame I know) on the fashion scene in 2010 and I have had a tiny obsession with them ever since. I have not yet been brave enough to buy a pair due to lack of funds, monster feet etc... but I definitely have been admiring their creepyness from a far. Creepers have really stood the test of time and been on the feet of many youth tribes for SIX DECADES! Following their arrival after WWII amongst ex-soldiers (they gained the name Creepers due to ex-soldiers ‘creeping’ around brothels...ruins them a bit huh?), they were a key fashion statement for the 1950’s Teddy Boys, the Mods and Rockers of the 60’s, 70’s punks, psychobillies in the 80’s and were seen on the feet of Rock and Roll revivalists in the 90’s. Creepers live on and are snapped weekly on the feet of the coolest fashionista’s of the teenies and the choice of creepers have never been so ‘creeping exciting!
